Compton & Associates merged its accounting practice with Crest Financial Services in March 2010.
 

The merged firm is known as Crest Financial Services which operates as a tax and accounting practice as well as a financial planning practice. Crest Financial Services operates out of three offices in the lower Hunter region: Crest Newcastle, Crest East Maitland and Crest Nelson Bay and employs approximately 33 staff.

Compton & Associates continues as an auditing practice specialising in the audits of superannuation funds, associations, clubs, small companies and incorporated entities and trust accounts.

The merged business has significantly increased and enhanced the services that we are able to provide to you, while at the same time has established a significant accounting and business advisory practice in the region.

As a combined practice we are able to offer all of our clients a wide range of comprehensive services in relation to:

• retirement planning

• superannuation and investment needs

• accounting

• business advisory

• auditing

The merger has adopted a corporate structure comprising Crest Accounting and Crest Financial Services. Both companies operate under the name Crest Financial Services. Crest Accounting has its head office in East Maitland while Crest Financial Services has its head office in Newcastle.
