Compton & Associates has been operating in East Maitland since 2003. Prior to 2003 Compton and Associates operated in Sydney.
Principal
Keith Compton is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand. Keith is a Registered Company Auditor, Registered Self Managed Superannuation Fund Auditor and Registered Tax Agent.

Compton & Associates conducts a variety of specialised audits. These audits are carried out in accordance with Australian Auditing Standards as prepared by the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board.
Statutory audits carried out by this firm include those for:

Legislation under which some of our audits are conducted include:

- Conveyancers Licensing Act 2003 and Conveyancers Licensing Regulations.
- Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993 and Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Regulations.
We also assist a number of non-profit organisations in the Hunter Region with respect to their annual audits.
Where appropriate we liaise with other audit firms where more specialised assistance is required. We do not outsource any of our audit services to overseas firms or organisations.
We currently do not provide tax or accounting services, however should your organisation or business require such services we can recommend an appropriate firm for you, dependent on your locality and specific needs.
